This policy explains which personal data are processed through this site in connection with the Olimpíadas Universitárias da Economia (University Economics Olympiad), what they are used for, and what rights you have over them.
Last updated: August 2026
The data collected on this site are processed by the Ordem dos Economistas (Portuguese Order of Economists) and the Associação Une Dois Mundos, the organisers of the Olimpíadas Universitárias da Economia, as joint controllers. For any privacy question, write to oue@olimpiadasdaeconomia.pt.
Only the data you enter in the contact form:
This site uses no advertising or profiling cookies, and collects no browsing data for marketing purposes.
The data are used solely to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to follow up on a higher education institution's registration for the Olimpíadas Universitárias da Economia. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form.
The data are accessed by the organising team and the OUE Scientific Committee, only as far as needed to handle your request. Form delivery and site hosting are provided by technical service providers acting as processors, who do not use the data for their own purposes. No data are passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and to follow the current edition of the OUE, and deleted afterwards, unless a legal retention obligation applies or the correspondence is needed to organise later editions.
You may at any time request access to, correction, erasure or restriction of your data, object to the processing, and withdraw your consent — without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Just write to oue@olimpiadasdaeconomia.pt.
If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD).
